METHOD OF OBTAINING: steam distillation of the flower and above-ground part of the plant

Effects: regenerative, detoxifying, soothing, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, healing

Purpose: Due to its extremely healing effect, it is a valued ingredient in preparations against hematomas, bruises, wounds, skin lesions, scars, acne. It is also used to relieve insect bites.

It is an extremely effective addition to preparations for the treatment of bacterial infections, chronic cough, cold, asthma, bronchitis.

Usage:

Diffuser or aroma lamp: 5 -10 drops

Direct inhalation: Use 1 - 2 drops in an inhaler or inhale directly. Drop up to 3 drops on a tissue and inhale deeply. Repeat as needed.

For local rubbing, mix up to 50 drops of essential oil with 50 ml of base oil (olive oil, almond oil). Massage gently onto face or body, sore muscles and joints.

Compress: Add 10-odd drops to 50 ml of warm water. Soak a clean gauze or towel, wring it out, and apply to painful or irritated areas (chest, forehead, throat, joints).

Massage: Mix up to 15 drops of essential oil with 50 ml of base oil (olive, almond) and massage into the skin of the face or body in circular motions.

IMPORTANT:

Do not use essential oil on the skin if you are allergic to any of its components.

Before using essential oil on the skin, test for a reaction:

Apply a drop to the crook of your elbow and wait. If redness, burning or a rash occurs, do not use the essential oil on the skin.
